The Many Uses of Push Lawn Mowers

There are many categories of lawn mowers. But the most basic category comprises of the push lawn mowers. These were probably the first ones of their kind that were mass produced right after the invention of the lawn mower. Push mowers have been readily used yet with the advent of engine powered mowers, they have almost been phased out.

The structure of the mower is fairly simple. They are usually made up of a long handle that goes down to the body structure that is comprised of a cylindrical roller blade that is aligned with the wheels and a bucket tray in the front. The specialty of the roller blade is that it is one blade that is very unique and the only one of its kind in use in a variety of cutting devices. This blade saw its invention due to the invention of mowers.

It is a cylinder that has blades that curve onto each other in the form of a helix and hence the cylinder structure. This is aligned with the wheels for momentum and even though the wheels will stop moving, the roller blade continues to rotate with momentum. This momentum independently helps cut the grass and it gets propelled forward. The bucket tray attached to the mower in the front collects all the waste.

The best part of the mowers is that that they are ecologically very friendly and they are an environmentalist's delight. They do not use any fuel or consume electricity and they are driven by the force of pushing that involves the human strength. They in this sense are superior to the automatic mowers, which require more maintenance and also cannot be used over a prolonged period of time.
